What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy, hypnosis, hypnotism. Depending on whom you ask, there are
multiple definitions for each of those terms. For our purposes, we will
define them all in the same manner. They are no less than a powerful,
guided journey into the subconscious mind. Within the subconscious
(below conscious awareness) lies a world of memory and answers. A
guided hypnotherapy/hypnosis session can bring back, through intention,
memories and long forgotten ideas that will assist you in the present
moment to overcome a block or issue. Within each of us are all the
answers to the questions of our life. Through hypnosis, one can access
the “God Within” and literally transform oneself by making what was
unconscious conscious.The journey is a journey within. To varying
degrees everyone experiences hypnosis (otherwise known as a trance)
from time to time. Hypnosis is a mild trance state that is gently
guided, never forced, and always helpful for solving problems. Through
the temporary loosening of the “grip” of the ego mind, one can
experience the innate wisdom within rising to the conscious mind.
Hypnosis is as safe as closing your eyes to sleep. Yet unlike sleep, in
which the subconscious can bubble over like an unwatched cauldron,
hypnosis renders the subconscious an open book and virtually any
chapter can be read. While in the state of trance, it is your intention
that flips the pages; you and you alone are in full control and can
close the book at any time you choose. Whatever answers you get were
within you all along. And when the question is answered the change is
instant and effortless.
