Marilyn Gordon,
BCH, CI, is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist,
teacher, speaker, healer, school director and
author with thirty years experience both teaching
and healing in such areas as language arts,
meditation, yoga, and hypnotherapy. She is currently the Director and Founder of a California
state-licensed hypnotherapy school, the Center for
Hypnotherapy Certification and a Certified Instructor
for the National Guild of Hypnotists. The school has
also been approved by the International Medical and
Dental Hypnotherapy Association.
Publications
Her newest book is entitled:
Extraordinary Healing: Transforming Your Consciousness,
Your Energy System and Your Life. This
book has been a finalist in the Benjamin Franklin
Book Awards given by the Publishers’ Marketing
Association. Marilyn is also the author of the book,
Healing

deep inner healing, originally published in 1990 and
now in its third printing. Her most recently published book is

Appearances
She has regularly appeared on radio and television
speaking about healing. She's been a regular guest
on a syndicated radio show called "Seeing Beyond,"
as well as other radio programs, notably "The
Judith Conrad Show." She has also given presentations
and workshops for the American Council of Hypnotist
Examiners, The National Guild of Hypnotists, and The
Association for Past-Life Research and Therapies.
For five years, she led retreats to Hawaii, Mount
Shasta and other areas to teach personal growth. She
has given presentations at the Whole Life Expo in
Northern California for nine years. She has given
talks for many groups -- Lions, Rotary Clubs, and
many other organizations. She has been featured in
a magazine called "Catalyst" in 1996, in
which she was interviewed about the work of hypnotherapy.
